Ever buy fancy pasta such as pumpkin ravioli and wonder what kind of sauce to serve with it? Well, I did and this is what I came up with:
2 ripe cantaloupes, seeds and pulp removed and quartered 1/2 tsp sea salt Couple of grinds of fresh black pepper Shake of ginger, cloves, cardamon, nutmeg, cinnamon, poppy seeds, basil, sage, thyme 2 tbsps. butter 3 tbsps. manchego cheese 2 cups heavy cream Couple of shots of Grand Marnier
Put cantaloupe in blender with heavy cream and puree. Put in med. saucepan and add the rest of the ingredients and cook about 15 mins. on med. heat.
